The post mortem of Alexa Stakely whose body was found after she confronted armed men attempting to steal her husband’s car revealed bleeding on the head and body, including cerebral hemorrhage.
Failed in her attempt to snatch her 6 years old son from a stolen Honda CRV, Franklin County Coroner’s office reported her death as a murder on the 11th of July 2024.

Finally, the day ended with her getting out of the car just to see someone trying to get out of it in the company’s driveway.
Panicking, Stakely ran after the vehicle and shouted at the driver to come back and get her young son, who is only 6 years old.
Unfortunately, she was run over by the car whose details the boy provided while fleeing, and she died of the resulting injuries that same night.
