Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee is accused of very serious crimes. These crimes include very intentional killing, hurting a dead body, and setting things on fire about a young woman.
This young woman’s name was Sade Robinson, she was 19 years old and attended Milwaukee Area Technical College. It’s believed that Anderson met with her for a date on April 1st, 2024.
After having fun for some time with her, they returned to his house. Here, Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee killed her and cut up her body into pieces before throwing the pieces away across Milwaukee County. The following morning, they found Anderson’s old Honda Civic that had been burned before.
On April 1, 2024, Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee called Sade Robinson and had a first date.. A video from the place they ate at in Milwaukee shows them dining together.
After eating, they traveled to a bar in downtown Milwaukee and then came back to Anderson’s house in the city’s south area. This would be the final time that Robinson was seen.
The following day, her Honda Civic, which was completely out of energy, was located near West Lisbon Avenue and North 29th Street in Milwaukee.
On April 2, 2024, a burned-out car was found near the corner of West Lisbon Avenue and North 29th Street in Milwaukee. Footage from a nearby bus shows Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee in the neighborhood shortly before the car caught fire.
This evidence shows Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee was at the crime scene, only a day after he had been with Robinson. People found out about Robinson’s burned car first, which was a big clue for the investigation.
This made them think something bad happened and they decided to charge Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee with serious first-degree intentional killing, mutilating a dead body, and starting a fire because of what happened to the young girl.
On April 4, 2024, the police went to Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee’s house to search because Maxwell was arrested for the killing of Sade Robinson. What they found during the search was very grim: there was a knife found in the kitchen sink and an ax hanging on the wall of the living room.
The investigators also discovered blood marks and women’s clothes spread all over the house, such as beneath a bench down in the cellar.
This horrifying sign, together with video of Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee with Robinson on their date when she vanished, made up the reason for charging Anderson with first-degree intended killing, cutting off a corpse’s body, and setting fire to her death.
After the first finding of Sade Robinson’s cut leg, more parts of her body were found later. From April 5 and 6, more body parts were spotted in different places around Milwaukee County. Then, in mid-May, a severed arm was found on a shoreline in Waukegan, Illinois.
The testing of DNA showed that the arm was hers, the proof strengthening that Sade Robinson had been cruelly killed and cut apart. Finding these pieces spread over the place told a terrifying story of what happened to the 19-year-old student named Sade, who had gone on a date with Maxwell Anderson on April 1.
As they gathered more evidence, the case against Anderson grew stronger, and he was kept in jail dealing with charges of first-degree intentional killing, cutting up a dead person’s body, and setting things on fire.
Sade Robinson’s family has taken legal action by starting a wrongful death claim against Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee. He is the man responsible for her murder and body parts being taken.
The claim argues that Anderson did something illegal, broke the rules of the Wisconsin Constitution, made unlawful physical contact, and knowingly caused severe emotional pain. The family of Robinson wants punishments and money from the money made when Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee sold his house in Milwaukee where it is thought that a 19-year-old college student lost his life.
The court case says that Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee’s behavior hurt the people at large, scared everyone, caused deep sadness to those who found the body, and tremendously shocked the feelings and spirit of those suing to a very high degree.
Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee says he is not guilty of charges for intending to kill someone, altering a dead body, and starting fires on purpose. He’s currently being kept in jail under a $5 million bond.
Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee has been charged with the most serious intentional killing, corpse mutilation, and arson that led to Sade Robinson’s death. Robinson was 19 years old. He stated he did not accept responsibility for any of these charges when he appeared in court on April 22, 2024.
Anderson gave up holding his early court meeting and is set to come back to court on May 16th. The person appointed by the judge said it was okay for Anderson to go to the trial. Anderson is being held on a $5 million bond after failing to post bail.
Anthony Cotton, lawyer for Maxwell Anderson, wrote a document asking that the fire-making charge be tried on its own from the serious charges of intentional killing and disfiguring the body. Cotton says these different charges can cause unfair judging because they are not the same kind of crimes.
Also, Cotton asked the judge to let Anderson have more use of the jail computers. This is to allow Anderson to properly review the large amount of discovery evidence in his case, including reports, videos, and DNA items that are still being examined.
Cotton believes that Anderson only gets two hours every day to look through all the evidence, which is not enough for him to help with his own defense.
A somewhat strange demand has asked the court to let him use a laptop in jail. Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee’s lawyer Anthony Cotton says that due to many discovery items like reports, videos, and DNA evidence pieces, Anderson requires more than the two hours each day currently permitted for going through these materials.
If allowed, jail workers would control when Anderson could use the computer to look at evidence against him.
The judge was hesitant to change normal jail rules but said he might look at it again if the situation isn’t good enough for Anderson to help with his case.
The Maxwell Anderson Milwaukee murder case has caused big ripples in the Milwaukee community and even further away. The awful details that are coming out include a burned car and scattered bones, making lots of people wonder how such a terrible crime could happen.
While the legal steps take place, with Anderson saying he is not guilty and his lawyer trying for separate trials and extra computer use, everyone still wants to find justice for Sade Robinson and her family in sorrow.
