Many people are always interested in the Elon Musk Trump friendship. They both have huge followings, a lot of friends and critics, and they love being in the spotlight. What’s even more interesting is how they seem to be on and off with each other.
Elon Musk wasn’t a big fan of Trump when he shocked the world by becoming president in 2016, but he wasn’t against him either.
Elon Musk Trump has always said that he is a free thinker who isn’t tied to any one political group. Elon said yes when Trump asked him to join a few advisory groups at the White House.
It looked like they were going to work together for a while. Trump wanted well-known business people to work for him so that his government would look smart when it comes to tech and trade.
Elon Musk Trump has always been interested in new ideas, so he probably saw it as a chance to keep things like space travel and clean energy in the public eye.
They weren’t best friends, but there was mutual respect, or at least mutual usefulness.
The big event was when Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Agreement in 2017. For someone like Musk, who has made a lot of money on electric cars, solar energy, and rockets to Mars, that was a big deal.
Musk didn’t stay quiet. He quit the advisory councils and tweeted something short and strong: he was out, and he didn’t support the move.
This is where their relationship began to really fall apart. Elon was making a point, but Trump didn’t seem to mind.
Elon Musk Trump stopped being together in public. There won’t be any more picture ops or nice words.
Elon Musk Trump didn’t directly attack each other over the next few years, but they did poke fun at each other from time to time.
Trump frequently questioned electric cars, sometimes made fun of funding for EVs, and showed no interest in climate policies. He never directly criticised Musk, but it was clear that they were no longer on the same side.
Musk, on the other hand, didn’t say much. He said bad things about the government’s red tape and hinted that he was annoyed with people on both sides of the political spectrum, but he mostly kept his cool. He didn’t side with Trump or against Trump; he just did his own thing.
But underneath it all, you could feel the tension between Elon Musk Trump.
The noise level rose after Musk bought Twitter (now called X) in 2022. Musk all of a sudden had a big place to say what he thought, without any limits. He began to post about “free speech,” called for the end of culture, and even said he might vote Republican in the next election.
That’s when things between Trump and her got worse.
He called Elon Musk Trump a “bullshit artist” and said Elon owed him everything at a gathering. In other words, he said that Tesla would not exist without Trump..
Musk replied with a tweet that said Trump should “hang up his hat and sail into the sunset.” He also said it was time for new leaders to take the helm.
It felt like a full-on feud was finally out in the open.
It seemed like the Elon Musk Trump story had turned into a nasty feud, but then news came out that they were talking again behind closed doors.
Some people say Trump wants Musk to vote for him in 2024. Some people believe Musk wants to have a say in tech policies if Trump gets a second term.
So… are they patching things up?
It wasn’t the first time that two strong people buried the hatchet because it was easier that way. Elon Musk Trump might not like each other, but if working together gets them both what they want, they might figure it out.
That’s the million-dollar question: Is this a real fight, or are they just lying?
They both know how to keep the attention on themselves, let’s face it. They know how to control the news, whether it’s about drama, deals, or odd tweets sent late at night. Both of them like debate, too. People who follow them gather around their names, and the media loves it.
This back and forth might not be as personal as it seems. It could be part of the brand.
Their goals don’t always match up, but sometimes they do. But they don’t like sharing power. That’s most likely what their problem is all about.
You may still be thinking if Elon Musk Trump are really friends or just putting on a show. The answer is yes. All of the above.
When it helps, they’re nice. Elon Musk Trump because it makes people notice them. They make it big because they know we’re watching.
In the end, this relationship isn’t really about friendship or competition. It’s more about power, staying in charge of the story, and having influence.
