One Survivor Rescued as Two Lives Lost In Boat Accident On Lake Michigan

There was a boat accident on lake Michigan, a boat for fishing tipped over the water near Port Washington, Wisconsin. This thus resulted in two individuals passing on their lives while within the body of another individual there was life after being brought back from the brink of death. It occurred during the Monday night of July 15 th ; the Triton boat which was 17 foot long drowned in the bad waters of the lake. The Sheriff’s Office in Ozaukee County reported an emergency call at around 6:24 p.m. about boat accident on lake Michigan. This was picked up by the U. S. Coast Guard that immediately dispatched some groups to the last seen whereabouts of the ship. These included the Rescue Boat deployed by Ozaukee County Emergency Management from Port Washington Fire Department, U. S Coast guard boats in Milwaukee and Sheboygan and helicopters from the U. S. The day saw a convergence of the Coast Guard in a major mission of rescuing people.

When they arrived at the boat accident on lake Michigan scene, the rescuers found three folks in the water: one who seemed to be awake but not fully alert and was able to breathe; but two others were not waking up and were not breathing at all. Both breathing and non-breathing people were saved from the lake and brought to Grafton’s Aurora Medical Center for fast medical help.

Even with the hard work from rescue teams, two people were unconscious, a man and a woman both grown up into 50s and 51s from Illinois, were said to be dead when they arrived at the hospital. A young man who is 26 years old from Beloit, Wisconsin was told he was okay and staying stable.

Experts found out that in the boat accident on lake Michigan the boat started to fill with water when it hit a wave. This caused the boat to tip over in waves between 2 and 4 feet high at a temperature of 53 degrees Fahrenheit. The boat sank completely before help could get there, and now nobody knows where it went.

Also helping in the rescue was Grafton Fire Department, Saukville Fire Department, and Port Washington Police Department. The event reminds us sadly of the risks from quick weather changes and emphasizes how important it is to take safety measures while boating on Lake Michigan.

When investigating the cause of the death from the boat mishap on lake Michigan, authorities are urging boat users to exercise care, ensure that boats they use are in good condition and most importantly wear life jackets whenever they are on the lake. They are very disappointed with the number of people who lost their lives in this boat accident on lake Michigan and all of us want to stand in support of those families and friends who are suffering this tragic incident.
